He pointed out how a non-NATO member held back Russian military advances in Ukraine.

“The United States and our allies are stepping up and proving that NATO is needed more than ever and is as important as it has ever been,” Biden said, as quoted by CNN.
Biden said the United States plans to establish a permanent headquarters for the Fifth Army Corps in Poland and maintain an additional 3,000-troop rotational brigade in Romania.
In addition, Washington will also bolster rotational deployments to the Baltic states, send additional F-35 fighter squadrons to the UK, and station additional air defense and other capabilities in Germany and Italy.
The NATO summit was held today, allowing the Western military alliance to show a common front against Moscow and start the process of including Finland and Sweden in the alliance.
