But broadcaster Vanessa Feltz defended Andrew on This morningsaying, “Well, that just shows two things, one shows that the king [Charles] is a compassionate person.”
She continued: “I don’t think he needs to be punished at this time at his mother’s funeral and the funeral.
“I think the other thing it shows is how much chatter there is, and how much nonsense reporting there is, and how many people claim to know what’s going on behind the scenes of everything and don’t. have absolutely no idea.”
His point of view was criticized by Matthew Wright who appeared on This morning with her.
Wright addressed the allegations that he sexually abused Virginia Giuffre and said, “He committed some pretty horrific crimes Vanessa. Surely compassion belongs to the victims, that’s all I’m saying.”
Giuffre alleged that she was trafficked by a convicted sex trafficker and Andrew’s friend Jeffrey Epstein when she was a teenager.
Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing and reached an out-of-court settlement with Giuffre earlier this year.
As part of the settlement, Andrew is believed to have paid her several million pounds.
Giuffre also alleged that she was instructed to have sex with prominent attorney Alan Dershowitz, who once represented Epstein and others like Harvey Weinstein and Donald Trump.
