Gunmen ‘in military uniform’ kill man in Ogun

Gunmen in military camouflage uniforms killed an oil businessman, Femi Oso, in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State.
PREMIUM TIMES has collected that Mr Oso was killed at his petrol station, Osofem Oil and Gas, at the NITEL bus stop around 10pm on Sunday.
A nephew of the deceased, who identified himself as Harbee, told Abeokuta reporters that the men were all wearing military camouflage.
He said they entered the gas station, shot the deceased in the head and drove away with his car bearing the plate number EKY903GZ.
“He was about to go home when they came to attack him. He tried to run away and they shot him in the head, took his car and his money and left.
“We found the car in Obada Oko. The car was stuck in the bush. He is currently at the police station.
Contacted by phone on Wednesday, Ogun State Police Command spokesman Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the incident saying it was an armed robbery.

“It’s a case of armed robbery and the command is investigating. We learned that they came in military uniform and killed the man.
“I think there was information about the man that he was coming with a certain amount of money. So they took the vehicle away with the money inside. We are still investigating the incident.
