The 24-year-old, who played Charlotte Hinchcliffe on the hit sitcom Channel 4, was in the town of Bridlington, East Yorkshire filming scenes from the upcoming Daddy’s Army movie .
Photographed in a full military uniform, Emily paraded alongside Sarah Lancashire and countless extras in a scene for the big-budget film, due for release in 2016.
The film, which also stars Catherine Zeta-Jones, Toby Jones and Tom Courtney, is based on the popular television sitcom that ran from 1968 to 1977.
Emily can be seen in a khaki suit, with a green shirt and tie, and unflattering brown boots.
Adding a touch of ’40s glamor, the star wore her platinum blonde hair in victory rolls under her hat and personalized with a pop of red lipstick.
Emily has previously been seen on set looking like a 40s pinup girl in a vintage red and white tea dress and black shoes.
It’s unclear who Emily plays in the film, but she’ll be reuniting with The Inbetweeners co-star Blake Harrison, who plays Private Walker.
The story of the film should pick up where the 1970s TV series left off, with the Home Guard on a new mission: patrolling the Dover military base.
But all is not well when MI5 discovers a radio signal sent directly to Berlin from Walmington-on-Sea.
