The Shiv Sena and the BJP severed ties after the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections.

US lifts COVID travel ban for fully bitten travelers from 33 countries; Details here
The United States is set to reopen international borders for fully COVID-vaccinated foreign visitors from 33 countries from November 8, the BBC reported. Ending the one-year travel bans linked to COVID-19, the United States will now allow travelers, who have completed double doses of COVID-19 vaccines, to enter the country via international flights and border crossings, the White House announced on Friday. However, the arrival policy in the country will be “public health guided, rigorous and consistent,” White House spokesman Kevin Munoz wrote on Twitter.

4 CRPF Jawans injured at Raipur station after a detonator exploded in a train; Probe activated
In a major development, four CRPFs were injured at Raipur station on Saturday after a detonator exploded in a train bogie at 6.30am. Sources say the explosion occurred inside the train as a box of dummy detonator cartridge was removed from the bogie. The injured – Chavan Vikas Laxman, Ramesh Lal, Ravindra Kar, Sushil, Dinesh Kumar Paikra – were transferred to Sree Narayana hospital in Raipur.

J&K: LeT’s top commander Umar Mustaq Khandey trapped in meeting in Pampore
In a recent update on counterterrorism operations conducted at J&K, an encounter is underway in the Drangbal area of Pampore, Awantipora. According to the Kashmir area police, J&K police and security forces are conducting the encounter operations. IGP Kashmir has informed that Umar Mustaq Khandey, one of the main LeT (Lashkar-e-Taiba) commanders is trapped in the Pampore encounter. Afghanistan: Islamic State claims mosque attack that killed dozens
ISIS claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing attack on a mosque in southern Afghanistan that left dozens dead. Turkish public broadcaster TRT reported that suicide bombers attacked a Shia mosque filled with worshipers attending Friday prayers in Kandhar province, leaving at least 47 dead and 70 injured. Separately, according to a statement released by ISIS’s Amaq news agency, the group said two IS fighters shot dead mosque guards, broke into and blew themselves up between two groups of worshipers, one of which consisted of about 300 people. .
