Adecco Group’s U.S. Military Alliance Program Celebrates 20th Anniversary with Release of New Hiring Guide for Veteran and Military Spouses
JACKSONVILLE, Florida., May 31, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Hot on the heels of Military Appreciation Month, Adecco Group – the world’s leading talent consulting and solutions company – today unveiled a new hiring guide: “Veterans and Spouses of Military: An Untapped Source of Talent in an Age of Talent Scarcity.” The guide draws on two decades of learnings and best practices from the Group’s US Military Alliance program as it celebrates 20 years of championing individuals related to the military and their careers.
With nearly two job postings for every job seeker, employers can use the guide to better understand and connect with veterans and military spouses who face multiple barriers to entry into the civilian labor market. These individuals can add immediate value to organizations as many companies scramble to fill crucial vacancies.
“For 20 years, The Adecco Group has proudly answered the call of duty to serve the military community inside and outside our workplace,” said Rachelle Chapman, military spouse and senior executive of the Military Alliance program. “As we celebrate this milestone, we are redoubled on our commitment to pursue, highlight and invest in the training and employment needs of military-related talent. Their services and skills are invaluable, and we know firsthand the positive impact these talented individuals have on the American business community.”
In partnership with military-affiliated groups and U.S. military installations, the Military Alliance program is committed to recruiting, hiring, retaining, mentoring and developing military spouses, veterans, wounded warriors, members of the National Guard and Reserve across the United States. To date, the Army Alliance program has created new jobs for more than 100,000 Army-related people. Powered by the Adecco Group US Foundation, the Military Alliance program also supports military-related charities and extends technology scholarships and career workshops to female veterans and military wives.
